As an environmental movement, we felt it was important to get back to basics by exploring the diverse, deep-seated reasons that motivate us to protect nature. That is why we organized this series of film screenings and discussions, which allow us to examine the relationship between humans and nature from different perspectives, drawing inspiration from various cultures. We invited the director, as well as people directly affected by the topics discussed, to participate in the discussions. Each episode sparked a very rich debate, both from a philosophical and a practical standpoint. This series is an excellent tool for lifelong learning that encourages us to reflect on our relationship with nature and to rediscover meaning in our actions.

The appeal of the “natural” is powerful—so much so that it can be difficult to distinguish between fantasy and tangible effects. I was keen to explore this question with our audience of passionate herbalism enthusiasts through this episode dedicated to well-being. The result? A beautifully shot documentary, deeply explored topics brought to life by fascinating contributors, and, above all, meaningful discussions that followed the screening thanks to Pascale Smeesters’ facilitation. I can only recommend this experience to anyone seeking to bring together well-being and nature.

I was fortunate enough to attend a screening followed by a discussion of one of the episodes from the series “In the Name of Nature.” More specifically, it was the first episode of the series, titled “In the Name of Money.” I particularly enjoyed the discussion that followed, which truly added value to the discussion and allowed us to delve deeper into our personal reflections on the topic in a collaborative and very enriching way. I highly recommend organizing a screening!
